Vengeance in postwar times was not confined to the living:
in the military cemetery in Saigon, graves were violated and headstones served
as shooting targets. The number of South Vietnamese Soldiers recorded  as
killed in action was above 300,000.

FOREWORDS

.        Vietmemorial.org is a Home Page of a group of former ARVN soldiers residing in the United States.  It was founded in memory of Vietnamese soldiers, cadres and civilians , who courageously fought for Freedom and Democracy in Vietnam.

We have gathered documents and pictures to present some exemplary heroic fights against communists since 1954, when millions of  Vietnamese people left the North in search for Freedom. The struggle has continued until today  by millions of Vietnamese, overseas as well as inside Vietnam, including many religious leaders and former communist members.
